CELEBRATION GOSPEL FESTIVAL Saturday, May 1, 2010, 8:00 p.m.
The Indianapolis Symphonic Choir invites you to participate in the annual Celebration Gospel Festival on Saturday, May 1, 2010.
What is it? Jointly hosted by the Light of the World Christian Church, Celebration Gospel Festival is an afternoon workshop and culminating evening performance, bringing together singers from all over the community.
Participants will rehearse spirituals and gospel songs with the Indianapolis Symphonic Choir and members of over 60 area church, community and school choirs during the afternoon workshop. The evening performance features the large festival choir, the Indianapolis Symphonic Choir, and students from Indianapolis Public Schools.
There is no audition required and anyone can participate in the workshop and performance. No tickets are needed for the performance which is free and open to the public.
